Staff report Lebanon resident Mi- randa D. Yiengst was named the top psychology student at La Salle Univer- sity, Philadelphia. Yiengst is a student in the Honors Program and has served as the presi- dent of the Honors Pro- gram Student Board. She also has been a member of the cheerleading squad for all four years at the univer- sity. In her senior year, she was chosen captain of the squad.

She also has been in- volved with Big Brother Big Sister and Residential Student Association, and has been inducted into Psi Chi and Alpha Epsilon honor society. Yiengst completed a re- search study with Dr. Da- vid Falcone, in which she analyzed the current per- ceptions of online dat- ing, according to a news release from the univer- sity. Her research was pre- sented at the Eastern Psy- chological Association conference, as well as the poster session prior to the Grimes Lecture at La Salle. She also had the opportu- nity to gain some experi- ence in the field of psychol- ogy through an internship at Philhaven Behavioral Healthcare Center.

She worked in the After School Program to help children with behavior health is- sues form health coping skills, according to the re- lease. She will attend graduate school at La Salle Univer- sity to earn a de- gree in marriage and fam- ily therapy. Susquehanna LIST Several area residents were named to the spring list at Susque- hanna University, Selins- grove, Allison Brown, of Hummelstown, is an Eng- lish major in the Class of 2015. A 2011 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, she is the daugh- ter of Bob and Kim Brown. Katie Drobenak, of Hershey, is a graphic de- sign major in the Class of 2016.

A 2012 graduate of Hershey High School, she is the daughter of Bonnie and Dennis Drobenak. Alexander Eby, of Her- shey, is a business admin- istration major in the Class of 2015. A 2011 graduate of Hershey High School, he is the son of Ty and Heidi Eby. Jennifer Shirk, of Fred- ericksburg, is a music ed- ucation major in the Class of 2015. A 2011 graduate of Northern Lebanon High School, she is the daughter of David and Beverly Shirk.

Sarah Walleigh, of Bethel, is a psychology major in the Class of 2016. A 2012 graduate of Tulpe- hocken High School, she is the daughter of MaryAnn Walleigh.
